I had the pleasure of reviewing the new 11″ Copper Chef pan and induction cooktop recently and neither disappointed.

The new 11″ Copper Chef Pan comes with the following items:

(1) 11″ Copper Chef Pan

(1) Induction cooktop

(1) Fry basket and steamer insert

(1) Cookbook

As we are approaching Father’s Day  (June 18, 2017) this would be the perfect gift for the Dad who loves to cook.  My husband is an excellent cook but he doesn’t like to clean up but with the Copper Chef pans clean up is a breeze.  We now have five (5) yes five Copper Chef pans and we love them.

The new 11″ Copper Chef pan package comes with the induction cooktop which is a wonderful addition to any home.  Use it as an extra burner when preparing a large meal on holidays  or outdoors by the BBQ as an extra burner. Take it with you camping or any place you have access to electricity.  This is an amazing bonus that is included with every order.  You can choose black or copper color in your set.

As you all know I am a huge fan of the Copper Chef pans.  I know there have been some negative reviews and comments on the net lately but honestly I cannot for the life of me figure out why.  My husband said it has to be user error because these pans are amazing.  My husband and I use them every day to prepare a meal whether it be breakfast, lunch, or dinner, it’s my go to pan.  I actually took all of my other pans out of my cabinets and moved them to storage in our basement. No need for anything but the Copper Chef pans in your kitchen.

In Copper Chef’s defense keep in mind that when you are mass producing items like these there are bound to be some that malfunction. However, Copper Chef customer service via Facebook is amazing. I know many of you have complained that you get satisfaction with the customer service folks at the number listed in your instructions but I know for a fact the Facebook handlers are doing a wonderful job of rectifying any complaints.

I see a lot of people complaining that their pan scratched – well if you use metal utensils on this pan it will scratch. If you decided to chop frozen food inside the pan it will chip or scratch it’s not intended for that purpose. If your food sticks you are not using the pan properly. I suggest you season your pan (even though it is not suggested in the instructions) and make sure your pan is hot before you place anything in it or it will stick.  READ the instructions before you use the pan!

I did a follow up video at the request of many of my Youtube fans to make eggs in the Copper Chef Pan here “Eggs Don’t Stick To The Copper Chef Pan!”

  1. I have both sizes , 2 -10 inch frying pans , the ex-lg crisper …. I need more ..,

  2. I have several of the Copper Chief pans and love all of them. The best cooking investment I could make. I also have bought several pans and gave to my daughters and niece.

  3. I received the small (9.5″) casserole pan (w/out accessories) & a signed & “personalized” copy of Eric Theiss’ Cookbook as a Christmas gift from a student I tutor. The pan is so awesome that I bought three 9.5″ sets (complete with all accessories) from QVC for my daughters for their birthdays this year. Two of my daughters (Spring birthdays) were raving so much about the pans that I had to give my 3rd daughter (Fall birthday) her pan early, LOL! Now I want a complete set for myself!!!
I would like to point out something about the non-stick qualities of the pan. According to the Use & Care Guide (copyright 2016) that came with my casserole pan, it is important to SEASON THE PAN(S) BEFORE FIRST USE! The guide specifically states (on page 2) that you should “heat the clean, dry pan on low heat for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and, using a paper towel, spread one tablespoon vegetable oil over the entire INTERIOR surface of the pan.” The guide also states this procedure should be repeated any time the pan is cleaned in a dishwasher. In addition, though not necessary, if you choose to use oil or butter, the guide recommends oil or butter with a high smoke point: refined olive oil, peanut oil, corn oil and (clarified) butter. Do not use extra virgin olive oil or oil sprays. They cannot withstand high heating and will leave a thin carbonized layer on the non-stick coating.
I hope these tips help your followers become better informed about this fantastic line of cookware.
