#CureColonCancer – I’m sure by now you have seen the news about Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman who died of colon cancer last week.
I have to be honest I didn’t see the movie but I can tell you that colon cancer has affected my family directly. Both my Grandmother (father’s mother) and my father died of colon cancer.
With such a strong family history I am a strong advocate for Colonoscopy. Don’t think this can’t happen to you. Colon cancer does not discriminate, it affects people of all age groups.
Know the signs, if your experiencing anything unusual consult your doctor. Colon cancer if caught early is 100% treatable. We have lost too many people (young and old) to Colon cancer because they were diagnosed too late. Chadwick’s legacy was to education on the dangers of Colon cancer. Get the facts, go to the American Cancer Society’s website at cancer.org and read about color cancer and the signs.
