The kind folks at Jessica Cosmetics sent me this beautiful “Ocean Glow” Phenom collection to review for my followers.

The Jessica Cosmetics Phenom collection is a phenomenal evolution in polish technology. It’s fast, it lasts, and it shines. Exclusively formulated for salon professionals (but you don’t have to be a professional to purchase it), the 3-Step Phenom Polish System delivers fast-drying in natural light, chip resistant, gel like shine that last up to 10 days, and removes easily like polish. No LED/UV lamps are needed. JESSICA’s custom Base coats are exclusively formulated to work flawlessly with the Phenom system.

So I set out to test the Phenom collection and see if it truly does last 10 days.

You all know I use my hands all day long and typing up to 12 hours a day (yes I do) between working on my blog or working for my non-profit organization I’m always on my computer typing which can destroy a manicure of any kind.

I am blessed with very nice strong natural nails so I do not like to do any type of LED polish treatments as it weakens my nails so I stick to regular polish.  However, we all know that regular polish, regardless of the brand and the amount of abuse you put your hands through each day, can start to chip in as little as 3 days.

That is why I was so excited to discover that Jessica Cosmetics had come out with a No LED polish that lasts up to 10 days.

Included in any of the Phenom collections will be a base coat, a final shine top coat and three amazing colors.  The Ocean Glow comes with:  Purple Urchin, Sea Star (which is what I have on my nails), and Blue Nautical.  Each beautiful color has a hint of tiny sparkles for an added glow.  I love them all.

Today was day one for my 10 day test of the Phenom collection (photo below).  I will be back to comment on day 10 and show you the results.

Day # 1 (I have three coats of Sea Star on my nails, it’s a sheer color so I wanted a more intense look.)

As promised here is the results (photo below) of 10 days of wear with Phenom – as you can see I circled the growth at the cuticle but not one chip or peel of this amazing polish.  And I truly put it to the test for 10 days cleaning, typing for hours each day on the keyboard and really not taking care of my nails (wearing gloves in water) like I normally would.  I wanted to see how it would hold up under harsh conditions and as you can see if passed with flying colors.  Yes there is some very very slight wear at the free edge (tips) of my nails but that’s to be expected after 10 full days.

Contest has ended.  Thank you!

  1. I absolutely love Jessica Cosmetics nail polish. I have the the IndieFest collection and would recommend this nail polish to everyone. The colors are very pretty and the nail polish actually stays on. Thanks for the opportunity to win Rosey!

  2. My biggest problem when I painted my nails was trying not to chip or put marks in the finished paint job. I liked the way my finger nails felt strong. I get the feeling this polish would help my nails like that too! Plus the color is stunning and would match a lot of outfits! This is a great gift 🎁

  3. I have tried to enter a comment on your YouTube videos and it says that comments are turned off. So I downloaded the Kid’s app. That didn’t help. I tried to comment on this video: Capresso Coffee Team Pro Plus 10-Cup Coffee Maker Model #488.05
    Any Advice??
