I am so excited to tell you about my new Lenovo Flex 5 laptop computer (now listed on the Lenovo website as the Flex 15).
The kind folks at Lenovo sent me this amazing touch-screen laptop (which by the way converts to a tablet) for review. For the retail price of this model I highly recommend it for students of all ages.
Sending your child off to college next year? This would be the perfect laptop/tablet for him or her to use in college.
I am a creature of habit. Change upsets me so I don’t like when new operating systems come out. I am still working with Window’s 7 (don’t laugh) on my desktop computer because the newer Window’s programs scare the heck out of me. Each time my son builds me a new desktop computer I tell him “Put back the Widows 7 if you know what’s good for you!” LOL
I’ve always been amazed at the way young people can adapt to new technology when I’m still struggling to figure out how to work my phone but the touch-screen technology on the Lenovo Flex 5 was much easier to learn that I thought. I actually love it now and feel like I’m working on a dinosaur when I go back to my desktop computer.
A solid state drive (my absolute must have in any computer) is something that everyone should invest in. The Lenovo Flex 5 is super fast to boot up each and every time. I have no patience for things that don’t boot up fast and I mean super fast. I had no clue what I was missing until my son installed the first solid state drive in one of the desktop computer’s he made for me. After that I was hooked.
This amazing little wonder converts from a laptop computer to a full functioning tablet in the flash. No need to purchased both a laptop and a tablet this baby has it all in one.
The Flex 5 comes with a 15.6” FHD IPS touchscreen and Harman speakers and Dolby Audio Premium.
No need for a password with the Lenovo Flex 5 – the finger print reader makes it easy and safe to keep your computer and it’s contents private.
The Lenovo Flex 5 came with some amazing pre-loaded software such as Windows 10 Home built with a host of new features to streamline your life. Meet Cortana, your own personal digital assistant who answers your questions, sets reminders and learns what you like the more you use it. Cortana works with more than a thousand apps to ensure you’ll always have the answers you need. Best of all, Cortana syncs across all your Windows 10 devices to keep you organized.

Optional features include the Lenovo Active Pen featuring pin-point accuracy and palm-rejection technology, the optional Lenovo Active Pen emulates a natural pen-on-paper writing experience. Paired with new Windows Ink features—found directly on your taskbar—it gives you new ways to turn your thoughts into action. Write notes that sync up with Cortana to flow across your other devices, or get creative with a hand-drawn birthday card.
The Lenovo Flex (now called Flex 15) has a starting price of only $699.00 that includes a Solid State drive, which I strongly advise.
