From the time I was a little girl, the only brand of chips I can ever recall my Mom purchasing was Herr’s. My Mom was very brand-loyal and even though she was on a tight budget she would seldom waiver from her usual brands each week. Herr’s products were plentiful in our area since they are manufactured right in Pennsylvania (where I am originally from). It was our family’s number one choice and still is. Always fresh and consistent in taste, the Herr’s brand is still owned and operated by the Herr’s family after all these years.
Established in 1946, the Herr’s brand has a full line of more than 340 items including potato chips, pretzels, tortilla chips, cheese curls, popcorn, crackers, nuts, pork rinds, onion rings and meat sticks.
With potato chip flavors like Sour Cream and Onion, No-Salt, Old Bay (crab seasoning), Salt and Vinegar, Pizza, Red Hot, Slightly Salted, Pennsylvania Dutch, Dill, and Sour Cream and Cheddar there’s bound to be one for every chip lover in your house. I know my favorite is the new Honey BBQ – yummy!
The kind folks at Herr’s sent me two large boxes of assorted flavor chips, most of which were donated to Kids Alley, one of the charities I support. I am sure there were lots of little happy faces during the lunch program at the organization.
Side note: Did you know you can take your family on a tour of the Herr’s factory and watch as the snacks are being processed and packaged? Well, you can. What a great vacation idea for your family to experience this coming summer! You can get all the details here.
While you’re at the website checking out the details on the Snack Factory Tour, why not print some cents off coupons, too? You can find them here!
