I must admit I’m no beauty expert but I do love to try new products as they reach the market.  I have tried everything from drug store products to high end designer products and for me the high end designer products are just not worth the extra money.  Now you may not agree and I respect that but here is my take on make up and how I decide what to buy.

First and foremost I do my research before I buy any product.  I read reviews and ask around for suggestions.  I also visit stores like Sephora where the staff is extremely knowledgeable about all things beauty and I ask for advice.

On one of my trips to Sephora I discovered that they have their own brand of cosmetics and they are a fraction of the cost of the high end designer brands but they work as well if not better in my opinion.  Sephora stands behind each and every product, so if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, they will refund your money within 30 days with your receipt when you return the unused portion.  However, I don’t think that will be the case, at least it has not been for me. I have purchased many of their products and I’ve loved them all.

So when the folks at Sephora asked me to review two of their products I was thrilled to oblige.  Sephora sent me these two amazing lip pallets to review and I couldn’t have been more thrilled to receive them.

The first is the Sephora Paint The Town Nude Lipstick Crayon Set which sells for $29.00.

I love the crayon lip colors. I am drawn to them since I feel they are the easiest to apply and control. I want to apply and go! I don’t want to be messing with a brush and a lipstick because I’m not a patient person LOL.  These beautiful nude shades are the latest rage in lip and nail colors.  This set comes with ten (10) different shades of nude color.  Break that down and it comes to $2.90 per crayon – that’s a great deal. This is such a wonderful collection and you will never get tired of the colors since there are so many to pick from.  Mix them together to get yet even more colors for your lips.

The second product is the Sephora Sugarcoated Lip Gloss Set which sells for $29.00 also.

This collection comes with eleven (11) shades and one clear lip gloss.  Break it down and you are paying $2.40 per gloss, that’s a steal compared to some other brands.  They smell delicious enough to eat but don’t do it LOL.  Each smells like a sweet candy flavor and they are delightful.  The colors are amazing as well.  Wear them with a lip color or alone for a more sheer look. I paired the lip glosses with some of the Nude Lipstick Crayon’s to make a beautiful lip.

Both of these collections are available at or at your local Sephora store (store finder) –  I highly recommend you check out the entire Sephora collection of cosmetics you won’t be disappointed.
